The Fuquay Varina Chorus (Select and Women's select) were picked to perform at Carnegie Hall in NYC in April. Kelcey didn't bother to tell me, since she didn't know is was a "big deal". She had no idea. Funny isn't it? We had to explain to her that this is a great honor to her chorus teacher and should be to the kids as well. Ms. McCoy, her chorus teacher, does a great job selecting and teaching these kids. I guess let the fundraising begin....
They will perform at Carnegie Hall April 19th I believe, they are scheduled to perform in two shows, I am not sure if they are both on that day, but I guess we'll keep everybody "up north" in the "know". When time comes, maybe we can organize a "Herrera wagon" to NYC???
